Matching activities with goals

Keeping activities connected to goals is essential for structured progress tracking. In Beenia, you can assign activities to goals directly from the goal view, from within the activity itself, or even automatically via HubSpot integration. This ensures that every task you complete contributes to the bigger picture.

Where to Link Activities with Goals

You can match activities with goals in three ways:

1️⃣ From the Goal View – This allows you to link multiple activities to a goal without navigating away.

2️⃣ From the Activity Detail – If you're working on a specific task, you can assign it to a goal directly from the activity settings.

3️⃣ Automatically via HubSpot – With the Beenia-HubSpot integration, activities and goals can be created and assigned automatically based on predefined conditions.

Assigning Activities to Goals from the Goal View

To link activities to a goal without switching to the activity section:

1️⃣ Navigate to the Goals section in Beenia.

2️⃣ Open the goal to which you want to assign activities.

3️⃣ Scroll down to the Activities section within the goal.

4️⃣ Click “Add Activity” and choose an existing activity or create a new one.

5️⃣ The selected activity is now linked to the goal, and its progress will automatically contribute to goal tracking.

This method is ideal for setting up goal structures efficiently without switching between multiple views.

Assigning Goals to Activities from the Activity Detail

If you're working on an activity and need to connect it to a goal:

1️⃣ Open the activity detail page.

2️⃣ Click on the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.

3️⃣ Select “Assign to Goal” from the dropdown menu.

4️⃣ Choose the relevant goal from the list.

5️⃣ The activity will now be tracked under that goal.

Automating Activity Matching with Rules

Beenia also allows for rule-based matching, so activities can be matched with goals automatically:

✅ Navigate to the goal settings and click “Set Rules”.

✅ Choose “Only add activities by rule” or “Synchronize – Add and remove activity by rule”.

✅ Define conditions based on custom fields, tags, or activity types.

✅ Once configured, Beenia will automatically match relevant tasks with the goal.

With the HubSpot integration, Beenia allows you to automate activity and goal creation:

✅ In HubSpot, set up an automation workflow.

✅ Select Beenia as the integration tool.

✅ Choose whether you want to create a goal or an activity in Beenia.
